DDoD is not a 501(c)(3). It is not an LLC. It is not a political action committee. It is not a movement seeking members. It is a small group of citizens building tools we believe should exist, releasing them publicly, and asking others to join us in the building. We have no donors, no board, no payroll, no permanent staff, and no permission. If that arrangement seems precarious to you, you are correctly identifying the cost of being answerable to no one.
